The Oscar-nominated “Banshees of Inisherin” is a beautifully acted unconventional tale of pre-Facebook “unfriending” that is not without its share of, well, grisly scenes. Casting is really everything, and one is simply taken by the magical weaving together of the acting of Collin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, the quietly charismatic Kerry Condon, Barry Keoghan, and yes, even the miniature donkey and the horse. This cast and director Martin McDonagh combine to make the making a great film seem so effortless. My fearless forecast: this movie will take home at least four Oscars.
